METAGREEN panel
The METAGREEN sound-absorbing plant panel consists of a galvanised steel frame in hot-dipped galvanised steel according to Standard UNE EN 1461, of different sizes to fit between the HEA/HEB fastening profiles of the supporting structure. Rock wool and other materials are placed inside, along with a green plastic mesh that encourages plant growth on both sides.
The panel adapts to different profile widths.

Components
- Steel frame: Hot-dip galvanised according to Standard UNE EN 1461.
- HDPE Mesh: Green high-density polyethylene mesh to encourage plant growth.
- Sound-insulating: Semi-rigid rock wool panel with black facing to protect it from the attack of erosion and humidity, and avoid tearing.
Benefits
- Eco-friendly and natural looking screening system that blends into the tracks, with or without plants.
- The technical features of the METAGREEN plant panel ensure an excellent insulating and absorbing acoustic effect.
- The panels are supplied with the anti-corrosion treatment of hot-dip galvanising to offer long-term durability.
- Panels made from sustainable and recyclable materials.
Acoustic and mechanical features
- According to Standard EN 1793-1, the sound absorption index is DLα =13 dB corresponding to rating A4.
- According to Standard EN 1793-2, the airborne sound insulation index is DLR =26 dB corresponding to rating B3.
- According to Standard EN 717-1, the weighted sound reduction index is Rw (C;Ctr) = 30 (-1;-4) dB.
The panels are mechanically tested according to Standard EN 1794-1, having obtained very high loads in tests carried out in accredited laboratories.
For certain solutions, it is possible to guarantee mechanical properties through appropriate analytical calculations, as provided for in current regulations.
