M009 cyclist-pedestrian railing

The M009 metal railing is a containment system for pedestrian and cyclist circulation areas along pavements or cycle paths.

It is installed along the edge of pavements on roads, streets, cycle routes, edges of bridges, and other grade-separated crossings in urban or metropolitan infrastructure. Also in places where falls from heights may occur.

Features

  • Modular railing with vertical rails.
  • Dovetail modules ensure handrail continuity.

Installation

  • Structure attachment by welding to the plate previously embedded into the concrete.
  • Structure attachment using a base plate secured with mechanical or chemical bolts in accordance with Standard EN 85-239-91 “Railings. Anchorage features, supply and installation conditions”.

Surface treatment

GALVANISED: Hot dip galvanising anti-corrosion treatment according to EN 1461.

POWDER COATED: Protection using polyester powder coating, applying the QUALISTEELCOAT process based on Standard EN12944 according to the RAL colour requested.

DUPLEX SYSTEM: Hot dip galvanising + powder coating.
