PlugSmart® Pro
PlugSmart® Pro is an autonomous device that turns any containment system into an intelligent element capable of detecting risks and signalling them in real time from the infrastructure itself. Its PLUG&META® technology gives the road perception, analysis and communication capabilities, strengthening active road safety and providing critical information to infrastructure managers.
Main functions
- Early detection of risks (excessive speed, wrong-way driving, presence of wildlife, etc.).
- Immediate adaptive signalling, fully configurable according to each scenario.
- Recording and transmission of events and incidents to control centres and national platforms (DGT 3.0 or equivalent NAP).
- Automatic impact notification when an accident cannot be avoided, activating signalling and notifying the manager.
Compatibility and integration
- Installation on metal barriers, concrete barriers, parapets, walls or tunnel surfaces.
- Wireless integration with sensors (radar, AI cameras, weather sensors) and signalling devices (hidden panels, VMS).
- Architecture prepared for remote management and photovoltaic operation.

Road accidents and technology
En España, los accidentes por salida de vía son una de las principales causas de siniestros y muertes en carretera, representan uno de cada tres siniestros en vías interurbanas. Se prevé que aumenten si no se aplican medidas preventivas, pero los Sistemas de Transporte Inteligente (ITS), como el dispositivo PlugSmart® Pro, podrían prevenir gran parte de estos accidentes y reducir la siniestralidad vial.

El sistema PlugSmart® Pro comunica en tiempo real a los RAP (Regional Access Point) o al NAP (National Access Point) los eventos que afectan a la seguridad vial.
