The Metaurban® urban barrier is a containment system for mobility and road safety. It provides benefits for all road users on their journeys through urban and metropolitan areas.
It helps protect pedestrians and cyclists using the pavements and cycle lanes. It also protects occupants in other vehicles if a vehicle leaves the carriageway.

Features that make it unique.

It is an essential system to safeguard the most vulnerable road users: pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and drivers of Personal Mobility Vehicles. It is more than simply an aesthetic containment system given than it affords active safety (preventing accidents from happening) both day and night.

The Metaurban® urban barrier has been tested with a full-scale impact – following European Standard EN 1317-2 – and met all the criteria to be considered as an N1 Containment level.

It is an approved device conforming to UNE EN 1317 parts 1 and 2 that, together with compliance with part 5 in terms of production control, has obtained the CE marking.

Tested with fuse-type anchors, guaranteeing quick, simple and economical replacement in the event of an accident.
